Analisis Kualitas Air Sungai Kalibokor, Kelurahan Bratajaya, Kecamatan Gubeng, Kota Surabaya menggunakan Metode Biotilik

Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di Sungai Kalibokor Selatan yang terletak di perbatasan Sungai Kalibokor dan Sungai Ngagel. Memperhatikan sungai tersebut yang mengalir melewati permukiman warga diperkirakan akan mendapat beberapa input baik dari proses alami maupun dari kegiatan masyarakat di sekitarnya seperti air limbah dari rumah tangga dibuang secara langsung ke badan sungai tanpa pengolahan sehingga berpotensi menerima dampak langsung maupun tidak langsung dari aktivitas tersebut. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan kualitas air sungai dengan metode biomonitoring sehingga menjadi tolak ukur untuk mengetahui kualitas lingkungan di perbatasan Sungai Kalibokor dan Sungai Ngagel, Surabaya. Penilitian ini menghubungkan kualitas air dan makroinvertebrata di Sungai Kalibokor untuk melakukan penilaian kualitas air sungai. Hasil parameter air sungai mendapatkan nilai COD sebesar 88 mg/l, pH sebesar 7.3, suhu sebesar 31°C, kekeruhan sebesar 49,71 NTU, dan TDS sebesar 253 ppm. Makroinvertebrata yang ditemukan di aliran sungai sebanyak empat jenis yaitu Parathelpipusidae-B, Thiaridae-B, Thiaridae-A, dan Atydae
