Penilaian Dampak Lingkungan Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) pada PLTGU Menggunakan Pendekatan Life Cycle Assesment (LCA)

PT. PLN Nusantara Power Unit Pembangkitan Gresik adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembangkit listrik dengan distribusi wilayah Jawa – Bali, hasil dari proses pembangkitan listrik itu menghasilkan air limbah dengan rata rata sebesar 171,38 m3 perharinya. Life Cycle Assesment (LCA) adalah metode untuk menganalisis beban lingkungan di semua tahapan dalam siklus hidup dari produk dimulai dari ekstraksi sumber daya, proses produksi, produk itu sendiri, dan konsumsi produk sampai produk itu dibuang. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada instalasi pengolahan air limbah di PT PLN Nusantara Power Unit Pembangkitan Gresik yang mengolah dari berbagai macam sumber air limbah diantaranya air limbah blow down tank, air limbah sampling rack, air limbah pit drain, air limbah laboratorium dan air limbah regenerasi resin dengan tujuan untuk menyesuaikan parameter baku mutunya sebelum disalurkan ke badan air yang sesuai dengan Peraturan Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2014. Pada penelitian ini, penilaian dampak lingkungan dilakukan pada WWTP PT. PLN Nusantara Power Unit Pembangkitan Gresik untuk mengetahui dampak lingkungan yang dihasilkan menggunakan software openLCA. Analisis dampak dilakukan dengan metode Impact 2002+ dengan hasil analisis didapatkan tiga dampak terbesar pada WWTP yaitu non renewable energy, aquatic ecotoxity dan ionizing radiation dan pada unit proses sludge enrichment tank dan sludge storage memiliki dampak terendah dalam analisa yang dilakukan.
