Evaluasi Sistem Saluran Drainase dengan Software HEC-RAS (Studi Kasus Jalan Raya Mayjen Sungkono, Surabaya)

Pembangunan kota dan tata kelola infrastruktur perkotaan memberikan dampak besar terhadap siklus hidrologi, yang mempengaruhi kondisi sistem saluran drainase di suatu wilayah. Pembangunan kawasan pemukiman dan industri meningkatkan risiko genangan air dan banjir akibat luapan sungai dan sistem drainase yang tidak memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi eksisting sistem drainase di Jalan Raya Mayjend Sungkono, Surabaya, menggunakan perangkat lunak HEC-RAS. Metode penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder, analisis hidrologi dan hidrolika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar saluran drainase di Jalan Raya Mayjend Sungkono berada dalam kondisi kurang baik, dengan banyaknya endapan, sampah, dan utilitas yang mengganggu aliran air. Simulasi dengan HEC-RAS menunjukkan bahwa saluran drainase yang ada tidak mampu menampung debit air yang tinggi, terutama saat periode hujan intens. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi pembersihan saluran, perbaikan struktur saluran, dan peningkatan kapasitas saluran untuk mengurangi risiko banjir dan meningkatkan keberlanjutan lingkungan perkotaan. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya perencanaan dan evaluasi sistem drainase yang efektif dalam mengelola risiko hidrologi di daerah perkotaan.
