About the Journal

FOCUS AND SCOPE 

Focus
Jurnal Midpro is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Litbang Pemas, Universitas Islam Lamongan, and managed by the Vocational Program of Midwifery. The journal aims to disseminate evidence-based knowledge that strengthens midwifery practice, education, and women’s and children’s health services, particularly in Indonesia and other developing countries.

Scope
Jurnal Midpro welcomes manuscripts covering, but not limited to:

  1. Antenatal care and pregnancy complications
  2. Intrapartum care and childbirth
  3. Postpartum care and breastfeeding
  4. Neonatal, infant, and under-five child health
  5. Adolescent and preconception health
  6. Family planning and contraception
  7. Sexual and reproductive health, including menopause and climacteric
  8. Community midwifery and maternal–child public health
  9. Complementary and holistic therapies in midwifery
  10. Midwifery education, curriculum, and professional development
  11. Management and quality of midwifery and maternal health services
  12. Women’s empowerment and gender issues in health
  13. Digital health and technology in midwifery care

Article Types
Original research (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods), systematic/literature reviews, case reports, and short communications.

Language and Publication
Manuscripts are accepted in Indonesian or English. The journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
