Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Bidan dengan Perilaku Pencegahan Infeksi dan Pencegahan Penularan HIV dari Ibu ke Anak (PPIA)

Di Kabupaten Lebak sampai tahun 2017 terdapat 93 kasus HIV dan setiap tahun terjadi kasus penularan HIV dari ibu ke anak. Bidan beresiko tinggi tertular HIV saat menolong persalinan, petugas kesehatan harus menerapkan kewaspadaan universal (Universal Precautions) sebagai    upaya pengendalian infeksi. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan sikap bidan dengan perilaku  pencegahan infeksi dan Pencegahan penularan HIV dari Ibu ke Anak (PPIA) di Kabupaten Lebak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan cross secsional. Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 159 responden. Pengambilan sampel dengan stratified proposional random sampling yang dilakukan pada 30 Puskesmas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan, ketersediaan alat pelindung diri, pengawasan dan dukungan rekan kerja dengan perilaku pencegahan infeksi dan PPIA. Disarankan melakukan pelatihan tentang program PPIA agar pelaksanaanpelayanan  sesuai dengan pedoman PPIA nasional. Evaluasi terhadap pengadaan alat sarana dan prasarana pada bidan desa untuk menunjang perilaku pencegahan infeksi yang baik.
