HUBUNGAN PEMBERIAN SUSU FORMULA DAN ASI ESKLUSIF DENGAN KEJADIAN DIARE PADA BAYI USIA 0 – 6 BULAN (Study di BPS Ny. Subiyanah Amd.Keb. Desa Parengan Kecamatan Maduran, Kabupaten Lamongan)

Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control yang bertujuan menghubungkan pemberian susu formula dengan kejadian diare pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa wawancara dan observasi dengan populasi semua bayi usia 0-6 bulan yang memenuhi persyaratan kriteria inklusi yang berjumlah 24 bayi dan menggunakan tehnik total populasi sampling.
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa bayi yang terkena diare sebesar 13 responden (54,2%) sedangkan yang tidak diare sebesar 11 responden (45,8%). Berdasarkan hasil statistik chi-sguare (x² ) didapatkan x² hitung (5,95) x² table (3,841). Tingkat kemaknaan dalam penelitian ini adalah α <0,05 bila nilai α <0,05 maka Ho ditolak berarti ada signifikan atau pengaruh yang bermakna antara variabel yang diukur bila nilai α > 0,05. Maka H1 diterima artinya ada pengaruh yang bermakna antara variable yang diukur. Berarti ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pemberian susu dengan kejadian diare pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan.
Dengan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan petugas kesehatan mampu memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dengan memberikan pendidikan, informasi dan promosi kesehatan, khususnya pada para ibu akan pentingnya ASI esklusif sebagai bagian dari upaya memperbaiki kesehatan bayinya.
