Gambaran Literasi Bahaya Boraks Pada Bakso di Kalangan Mahasiswa Muslim Universitas X Tahun 2025

Bakso merupakan makanan populer di kalangan mahasiswa; namun, penggunaan boraks sebagai aditif makanan masih sering ditemukan meskipun telah dilarang oleh Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi bahaya boraks di kalangan mahasiswa Muslim di Universitas X pada tahun 2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang melibatkan 116 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui accidental sampling, menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan rendah dalam mencari informasi (69%), kemampuan sedang dalam memahami (45,7%), kemampuan sedang dalam mengevaluasi (53,4%), dan kemampuan tinggi dalam menerapkan informasi (56,9%). Secara keseluruhan, sebagian besar responden berada dalam kategori literasi sedang (69%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun mahasiswa umumnya menyadari bahaya boraks, banyak yang masih kurang memiliki keterampilan kritis untuk menilai informasi dan menghubungkannya dengan praktik konsumsi yang aman. Oleh karena itu, program pendidikan dan kesadaran yang terstruktur dari universitas diperlukan untuk mendorong mahasiswa mengembangkan perilaku makan yang aman, sehat, halal, dan thayyib
